Piinpi Indigenous Fashion Exhibition - Bendigo Art Gallery

Bendigo Art Gallery is renowned for amazing fashion and design exhibitions that draw lots of interest, both nationally and internationally. In 2020 the gallery was set to launch Piinpi, Australia’s first major survey of contemporary indigenous fashion.

The Problem

COVID.. obviously. Like almost everything in 2020, the launch of Piinpi was delayed numerous times leading to all sorts of complications and headaches not to mention disappointment from the gallery and fashion fans alike.

In order to get this important cultural experience to the masses, we worked with the exhibition curator and marketing team to deliver an online experience in the form of a Curator Tour. This video built a bridge between the gallery and audiences whilst in-person experiences were out of the question. Once the gallery was finally able to open its doors, we delivered a TVC to help get the word out there and boost visitor numbers.
