Greater Bendigo's Food System Strategy

On October 31, 2019, Bendigo joined 65 cities around the world that have been admitted to the Creative Cities Network. Bendigo has been designated as a creative city of gastronomy – recognising all the exciting things happening across our city and region in food and beverages, culture and sustainability.

The City’s Food System Strategy is one example of how Bendigo values and invests in food and the health of its residents.

The Problem

After creating the Strategy, the City identified that they needed to get the word out about the strategy to the wider community and invite more potential stakeholders to get on board with supporting and contributing to its objectives. When identifying the best way to tell this story, we decided animation would provide the most flexibility and engagement. We teamed up with the legends at Chunk to produce the video you see below.

The animated video we created, provided an engaging way to tell the Food System Strategy story which led to higher quality conversations with potential stakeholders.
