Bendigo Bloom - Online Campaign

Bendigo has some of the best public outdoor spaces in Victoria (we’re only slightly biased). In September 2020, we won a tender process for the production of a series of videos to promote some of these great outdoor spaces to potential visitors in Spring.

The Problem

There were multiple challenges with this project given the COVID restrictions at the time so we proposed that the campaign would act as both an online experience and inspiration for audiences to visit Bendigo once restrictions ease.

We recommended the development of a completely new video package containing 4 x flagship videos with an additional 12 x feed-in videos (3 per flagship video) for secondary platforms. As part of the pre-production stage of this project, Hebron Films worked collaboratively with the Bendigo Tourism team to develop a straight forward release strategy that made Facebook, YouTube and Instagram work together to drive more views from the right people to the primary flagship content.

Instead of just producing 4 great videos and hoping they did well, we created up to 3 pieces of micro content per video that were used as per the release strategy to great success. We also captured extra B-roll footage to be used in future video content.
